We offer importation service of Field English Springer and Field English Cocker Spaniels directly from England. High Prairie Farms has access to puppies, started dogs, finished shooting dogs and field trial caliber dogs from top Field English Springer and Field English Cocker Spaniels bloodlines in the United Kingdom.

We have maintained an established and reliable contact in England for over ten years. Our supplier is an accomplished spaniel man himself who has won may titles. He has visited the United States numerous times to watch American Spaniel field trials to better understand what is required from our competitive field trial dogs. In addition, he is knowledgeable about the discerning needs of our upland bird hunters.

High Prairie Farms Flushing Spaniels has a proven track record of importing dogs for the shooting preserve market and fulfilling the desires of the sporting gentleman. Many of our imported dogs have given us and our clients the “Competitive Edge” on the AKC field trial circuit over the past several years. We offer selected dogs to serious competitors.

All imported dogs have their eyes examined and pass the British Veterinary Association/Kennel Club/International Sheep Dog Society Eye Scheme Evaluation prior to purchase. Preliminary hip evaluation x-rays are taken and shipped to me for veterinary evaluation prior to purchase. There is no recourse to return an animal after purchase, so we check each spaniel out thoroughly prior to investing.

Usually, trained imported dogs require a “conversion” or adaptive period after they arrive to the United States. Simply stated, this transition period allows the dog to acclimate to the slightly different, “American” style of commands and means of handling.
